Todah Rabah to everyone!
And you shall love the stranger, for you were strangers...
in the land of Egypt. From an August Torah portion called Eikev.

We are grateful for the ability to feed ourselves, and as a Jewish community - to help feed others as you've all done throughout our New Year by bringing canned food and/or donating to the Food Bank.

There is another need, just as desperate; to help our fellow human beings who are escaping war and the destruction of all they know and love. Kickstarter is offering a unique opportunity to donate to the refugees from Syria by way of the UN refugee Agency. For this unique effort there is no limit and no minimum donation.
